Howdy folks and happy St. Patrick’s Day! It’s Saturday afternoon here in Maryland, where a wintry mix of sorts has started falling from the sky, and my head’s spinning as I’m still playing catch up with everything that has happened over the last three days – I just flew back from Hawaii from business and landed late yesterday afternoon, so jet lag is taking its toll on me at the moment as well. In any case, I just discovered that Frankenfriend has been nominated for THREE awards at the forthcoming Nice International Filmmaker Festival 2018 (May 5th – 12th, also overlapping a bit with the Cannes Film Festival that kicks off on the 8th): Best Editing of a Short Film, Best Cinematography in a Short Film, and Best Visual Effects or Design! So a big congratulations to the cast and crew, especially Thomas Ferguson (editing) and Duy Tran (cinematography) . . . this day belongs to you!
